The Mount Rinjani 4 Days 3 Nights Sembalun to Torean trek offers a rewarding Rinjani adventure, starting from Sembalun’s open savanna trails to the Sembalun Crater Rim, followed by a sunrise climb to the Rinjani Summit (3,726 m) with panoramic views of Lombok, Bali, and Sumbawa. The journey continues down to Segara Anak Lake and its natural hot springs before descending through the scenic Torean route, famous for its rivers, waterfalls, and lush valleys, ending in Torean Village—ideal for trekkers seeking diverse landscapes and a well-paced Mount Rinjani experience.

Day 0: Pick Up Day
We’ll pick you up the day before your trek and take you to our office in Senaru. Once there, you’ll visit the beautiful Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep waterfalls, then spend the night in Senaru. Transport and accommodation are included. However, you’re also welcome to book your own accommodation or stay outside Senaru—just note that the pick-up time will be adjusted depending on your location.
Day 1: Starting Point → East Crater Rim (Campsite)
- 07:00am, After breakfast, your driver will drive you to Sembalun village for q hour drive
- 08:00am, Registration, get your ticket at Rinjani National Park office and begin the trek to the POST 1 (Pemantauan) 1300m for 2 hours walk from the starting point
- Take a rest for 5/10 minutes at Post 1 (Pemantauan) and then continue to the Post 2 (Tengengean) 1500m for 1 hour
- Here at Post 2, you will have long break for lunch and recover your energy
- After few minutes rest, the trek will continue to the post 3 (Pada Balong ) 1800m for 1 hour
- Take a rest for few minutes before fight up to the Sembalun crater 2639m about 3 hours
- When you arrive at the crater, all the tents is already prepared, the guide and porters will serve you with a hot cup (coffee, tea, lemon tea or milk) and prepared your dinner
- Make sure that you sleep early since you have to wake up at 2am for fight up to the summit!
Day 2: Campsite → Summit → Lake & Hot Springs
- 02.30am will be a light breakfast, and we will begin the necessary preparations for the hard three-hour climb to the summit (3,726 m)
- Once there, you can enjoy proud feelings of satisfaction, and the amazing sunrise views across the Wallace Line to Bali, Mt. Agung and Sumbawa.
- 06.30am, an optional tour departs the summit for Sembalun Crater Rim Camp – walking time approx 1.5 hours.
- After breakfast, we go down to the lake Segara Anak (2,000 m) within the Rinjani crater and Mt. Baru is an island in the lake and an active volcano, last erupting dramatically in 1994.
- It takes two to three hours down the steep trail to the crater lake.
- The rest of the day is spent relaxing, swimming in the lake and exploring the caves and a pilgrimage to the hot springs, believed to have healing powers. while our porters preparing for your lunch.
- Spend and enjoy the night at the lake side
Day 3: Lake → Propok Campsite
- Wake up at 07.00 am
- Breakfast while enjoying the morning views at the lake
- Around noon or after lunch, leave the lake and walk down for 3 - 4 hours down to the Propok Campsite( 1.400 m)
- You can enjoy the Penimbungan waterfall on the way to the campsite
- If we leave the lake before lunch, you can take the lunch on the way or near the waterfall
- Dinner and overnight at Propok campsite (1.400 m)
Day 4: Propok Campsite → Torean Village → Finish
- Wake up at 07.00 am
- Breakfast while enjoying the views of valley
- After having breakfast begin descend to torean, 5-6 hours walking down
- Rest and lunch at birisan nangka camping
- Estimated at 1 - 2PM arrive at torean village
- Transport In-Out
- 1 Night accommodation in Senaru
- Visit Sindang Gile and Tiu Kelap Waterfalls——as a bonus if you take the private tour and arriving at the latest 1h before sunset
